Beginning of 2012, I made a conscious decision that I want my children to be homeschooled. After one year I'm on  that stage wondering if I made the right decision...

Why homeschool?

Tips for Female Breadwinners

You know what girls, if the guy you're with right now is really sweet but is kind of a loser - never did well in school, always talks about wonderful ideas but never gets anything done, is always late, never keeps his word, always empty-handed - chances are he will always be really sweet to you.

The sad part is: he will always be a loser in the eyes of society. Non-contributing, dependent, a parasite to mankind. Your sympathetic eyes will see differently though.

And like it or not, all these traits are the very ones that attracted you to him. Chances are you are one helluva girl and very much the opposite of him. People can hardly say anything bad about you. That is why he completes you. Because with him you become good and bad at the same time. You have become whole because of him.

Ironic isn't it?

Now you realize it's too late, you can't just end your relationship because now you have kids, a joint bank account, conjugal property and mortgage. It's just easier to have him around tending to the lawn and taking out the garbage for you from time to time.

So you decide it's just less stressful to get along with him than try to change him. Because you know what? You CAN'T.

You just have to swallow that jagged little pill. Deal with the consequences of being the one who wears the pants, the one who runs the show, and all the crap you will hear from your mother for as long as she lives.

The best thing to do in this kind of situation is just get along. Buy your man an insurance, a good one where you can get a good lump sum when he dies. You can afford it. Yes, you can. Chances are you are good at making money. You are the opposite of him remember?

Once his insurance policy is all set, keep getting along with him, but don't take care of him too much that he outlives you. The idea is for him to go first so you get to enjoy the insurance policy that you have been working hard to pay for for 5 to 7 years.

And as you age, you really have to take care of your looks. You don't want to look like you've wasted your life away or simply put, don't look  losyang once he's gone. You want to look glowing and be able to say "Yes I'm free!!!"

That way it's a win-win situation. Your kids love and respect you for having stayed with their dad, and you look great for a 50 year old.

Okay maybe 45 years old is better. Let's set our goal at that.

wow wonderful tips. i can sympathize with you for having such a loser househusband. you have all the ideas and greatness. you really have a selfless concern for women, for your mom. you're such an awesome wife, don't or never let your househusband go out even for 3 days to try doing things, he maybe running a small business that generates small amt. of money. don't let him fix things. you keep wearing pants and run the show all the time. only be proud of him when he becomes a business owner/founder in CBD makati or a senator
